VP Inaugurates Services Projects in South Kordofan

Vice President of the Republic Ali Osman Taha inaugurated today Tuesday new hospital and secondary school in Kaoda, south Kordofan state following arrival to the state.

He said that his visit was a commitment the ruling National Congress party made earlier to fulfill partnership with the Sudan People Liberation Movement (SPLM) of south Sudan. Mr. Vice President that partnership between the two parties was a good model to be followed. He affirmed commitment to run a self-determination referendum for south Sudan according to the schedule, saying that there will be no more wars in the country.

Governor of the south Kordofan state Ahmed Haroon pointed out that big development projects were underway in the state including an electricity grid with a capacity of 405 Megawatts in Alfola area. He added that the electricity will be extended to south Sudan.
